results of an ignored cat scan
My 57 year old brother suffered often from impactions and in the ER he had a CT scan and the narrative stated he had a severely impacted bowel- and nothing was done. He was sent up to his room w/ his sigmoid and bowel/colon full of clay like stool--(7 1/2 lbs of it after autopsy) and that night he threw up and became septic, went into cardiac arrest had seizures and died, as the feces entered his blood stream. What do you feel could have been done to prevent his death this way?
Thank you for your time and any advice.
